Graduation ceremony will be held in the St. Francis of Assisi Church. Limited attendance & by ticket only.
Thursday, June 10 – Students arrive to their homeroom classrooms by 4:10 pm to don their robes. Meanwhile, parents will go to the church where several teachers will usher them to their seats. Seats are assigned beforehand with a random number selector on a calculator. EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK WHILE INSIDE THE CHURCH.
After students receive their robes in the classrooms, they will walk to the church to sit with their parents. The graduation ceremony will begin at 4:30. A few speeches will be given and recognitions will be acknowledged. As diplomas are given out, the graduate will go to the front of the church to receive an empty envelope and pause to have a photo taken by a professional photographer. These photos will be sent to you later. PARENTS SHOULD REMAIN SEATED DURING THE ENTIRE CEREMONY.
After the ceremony, graduates and families will exit the church, at which point you may take more photos. Robes and NJHS cords will be returned off the parking lot by Unity at tables for each of the four homeroom classes. In exchange, graduates will receive a bag with their actual diplomas and other ephemera.
Livestreaming - Due to current health department guidelines, we are unable to accommodate other family members and friends in the church, but they may watch the ceremony on YouTube or Facebook.
