Hello and welcome to my page, I am so happy that you are here. Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I have been teaching in Catholic Schools here in Washington since 2003. I started as a first grade teacher for four years, took some time away to start a family, and returned as the music teacher and 3rd Grade co-teacher. Gradually, we increased the amount of music classes offered at St. Francis, so I moved away from third grade and focused fully on music. However, in today's world, things are ever-changing, so two years ago I stepped away from music and into a mostly virtual 3rd grade classroom. That was quite an adventure, and I am proud to say I loved every minute of it.
Last year I was delighted to step back into the world of music, and it was wonderful but a little pared down, by which I mean it was missing things like Children's Choir, Christmas Tree lightings, the Advent Program, Art and Music Night, and Grandparents' Day performances. This year we are back in action and have the opportunity to experience all of these musical adventures together, and I am so happy to be a part of it.
