In addition to being a licensed school counselor in the state of Washington (see the FAQs for more about what that means), I am
🏡a proud resident of SeaTac, where I share a home with my husband and giant dog
🗺️a transplant from New England (I've also lived in Ohio, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado!)
🌸a lover of being outside, where I feel most connected to God and the vast, mysterious, beautiful web of life
🍳an avid cook
🎨a person who loves to make art
🌌someone who has always been drawn to thinking (some might say overthinking) about the Big Questions, like how live a meaningful life, how to make sense of suffering, and how to solve conflict with others so that we can all enjoy the miracle of being here on Earth together.
A meandering path led me to school counseling; I come from a range of experiences that include work and volunteering in schools, social services, a women's prison, a library, and many, many cafes (you'd be surprised at how many lessons from food service jobs carry over into other domains--if you know, you know!). I'm delighted to be at St. Francis!
